There are many different religions in the world today - with different beliefs, traditions, and practices. Here in the US, religion plays a large factor as well. Regardless of your personal beliefs, what do you think is the purpose of religion?
Religion is a big part of someones personal identity! Depending on what you believe in your gonna act different than someone who believes something different.
I think that we have religion because that's what our family's want us to follow, and believe. Also I think we have them to regulate our lives to makes us better people.
Purposes behind religion vary widley. Its weird how there are so many religions. I honestly believe that there are multiple spirits that work for this earth. Such as zues or Poseidon.
I think the purpose of religion was to give humans something to belief in. It was created because some people felt that there had be a superior being to humans that created the universe.
I don't really understand the point in different religion, personally. If we want to worship different God, Mary, or the saints, let them. What's the big deal?
I think that the pour pose of religion is to give people a reason to live. I also think that the point is to teach us major lessons in life and to give us something to look forward to in the afterlife.
The purpose of religion is to give people a piece of mind about what will happen when this life is over. Some are good some are bad, but its just what you are grew up in. I also believe that religion is used to seperate people so everybody isn't the same
I think the purpose of religion is to have unity and having faith .The purpose of religion is to acknowledge different cultural beliefs in a way that is understandable to everyone.A common belief that there is something 'intangible' and 'spiritual' in the background that influences us all regardless of who we are.
I think the purpose of religion is not only to teach you morals, but when you die, you would be in a better place. When you have religion, you have hope. Like if you're going to take a really big test and you need to pass it, you pray to have hope that you will pass it.

Religion is what a group of people or a posh believe in , it almost dictates theway the belive in diffrent situations it also dictates the way they respond to diffrent things. I don't think it's right that different religions can use their religion to start a war or as an accuse to kill people.
I think religion is something to believe in and rules to abide by.
