What is it that makes us human? Makes us different than an animal? In other
words, what qualities separates us and makes us more unique than any
other creature on earth?
If you kill someone's dog it's not as big of a deal, I mean you can go out and buy another dog. But if you kill someone's brother, you can't bring him back or replace him.

DeleteWhat if there was a reason for killing the brother. Maybe he was trying to kill you but you fought back? Only the police did to know that so you were still charged.

ReplyDeleteBecause humans do things in the world they could even change the world to make it better. Dogs or animals can't talk they can't make a big difference humans are more valuable then animals

ReplyDeleteI believe that something that makes us human is that we are advanced farther than animals. Animals can be smart, they have brains, they have hearts, but the difference is that we were able to advance farther.
The way we are treated and the way we act and our qualitys . Also if u get treated a way then u will act that way.

ReplyDeleteA human is different from an animal because we are considered more superior. Animals aren't looked at as being very important, so if you were to kill one purposely or accidentally then you will receive somekind of punishment. That punishment won't be severe but you will be punished. On the other hand, if you kill an human, you will go to prison or receive life in prison. Why is this? I don't have the answer but that's just how life is.
ReplyDeleteHumans are different from animials because the way they can communicate and are more important in everyone's eyes. It's all on the outlook people see killing humans more harmful and dangerous than killing a dog. People just see humans more important than animials.
ReplyDeleteI think that what makes people different from animals is our intelligence and ability to communicate. If we lost our intelligence and ability to communicate we could not be separated from an animal because that is what we would be.
ReplyDeleteEmotions, thoughts, free will, and voluntary actions make humans different from animals. Humans live in a way that they can control; we can choose and think and process more than just hunger and thirst and sleep. We function outside of what is norm for other species. We can fulfill our necessities and go beyond them.

DeleteWell there are some animals that have the same qualities as humans; but what separates us is that we humans have the ability to speak and give our opinion.
ReplyDeleteI think that our way of life is what makes us different from animals, as well as the way we were created. Humans wonder about everything, we wonder why. Do dogs or fish wonder where their next meal is coming from? Do they wonder why their a certain way? They don't. The way we were wired to think is what makes us different.
ReplyDeleteWe hold ourselves to a different standard from animals. We consider ourselves top of thefood chain. We are more develop than animals. Animals can't really change the world as much as we can so we think they are less important than humans.
ReplyDeleteSome things that make us different from an anmials are our physical, and mental state of mind. An example of psycal would be the way we talk, And an example of mental is our abIlity to learn
ReplyDeleteHumans can not be brought back if they are killed, you can buy another pet to replace it. Humans work and try to improve the world but it doesn't really work. We also have feelings.

ReplyDeleteAnimals are not as important as humans are. If human killed a dog, they wouldn't go to jail. Animals can't get paid to work, they can't speak in English or in any language for us to understand, they can't drive, they can't do anything. Humans have a lot of things to do in their life. We have goals to accomplish, jobs to do, and children to raise.
